Research
Questions are sent to OpenAI to research public sources and produce answers. API response storage is disabled. VisaSearch does not save questions or answers. Provider retention policies still apply. Do not enter confidential information.
Visitor statistics
VisaSearch uses first-party page-view statistics to understand its audience. We record public page paths, time, approximate country, browser and device categories, referring website hostname and campaign label. A random identifier in session storage estimates browser sessions. It expires after 30 minutes of inactivity and is not an identified person. We do not store raw IP addresses, search text, full referrer URLs or answers in this database. Records are deleted after 90 days. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals disable this measurement; blocked scripts and disabled storage can also prevent it.
Visitor accounts and languages
Visitor accounts use the existing Supabase authentication service. Your email and password are sent to that service when you register or sign in. Sign-in tokens are stored on your device until you sign out. Visitor registration does not grant administrator access. Published interface text is machine-translated; private account fields, research answers and original job adverts are excluded from interface translation.
Other services
Cloudflare hosts and secures the site. Wikimedia image searches and NASA or YouTube media involve those services when requested or loaded. External source and application links open their publishers, whose privacy terms apply. No advertising tracker or remarketing pixel is currently installed.
Admin access
The private owner workspace uses an eight-hour secure sign-in cookie. Failed sign-in attempts are temporarily counted using a one-way identifier for security.
